Apple Pie Doughy

By August 20, 2014Recipes

I Love Apple Pie and I Love Apple Pie Doughies. Like all our Doughies, this one is easy to make and great to eat.

  • Pop-open Biscuits
  • Apple pie filling
  • Butter
  • Cinnamon and sugar mixture

Take the apple filling and cut the apple chunks into smaller pieces about 1/4 inch in size.

Flatten out each piece of dough so that is about 1/4 inch in thickness.

Place about 1 teaspoon of pie filling onto the flattened out dough.

Next pull the edges of the dough up and around the filling you have placed and pinch the edges together.  Make sure the dough is pinched in a tight seal, otherwise the runny parts of the filling may leak out onto the pan surface.

Place the filled dough pieces into the pan and cook them holding the pan over your heat source for 5-10 seconds per side, rotating continually for about 4 minutes.

They are done when they are golden brown.

The final steps are to roll them in melted butter, then roll them in your cinnamon and sugar mixture.
