This carmel pecan Doughy is probably the tastiest Doughy we have dreamed up yet. Try it. It’s easy to make. It’s Awesome to eat! Here’s the recipe.
- Pop-open biscuits – Pillsbury or your favorite brand, regular or buttermilk biscuits
- Kraft caramels
- Cinnamon and sugar mixture
Cut each Kraft caramel into about four to six smaller pieces.
If your pecans are whole, chop or break them into smaller pieces, about ¼ inch in size.
Flatten out the dough so that it is about ¼ inch in thickness.
Place several pieces of caramel in the flattened out dough.
Place several pieces of pecans on the dough with the caramel.
Pull the edges of the dough up around the caramel and pecan pieces.
Make sure the dough is pinched tight to seal the caramel inside the dough. Otherwise the caramel may leak out onto the pan. See example below.
Place the filled dough pieces into the pan and cook them the way you cook all your other Doughies,
When they are golden brown, roll them in melted butter
Then roll them in a cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Then eat them while they’re hot!
